Who Is This For?
Booster pads are suitable for a wide range of people managing incontinence at home, in aged care, or in disability support settings.
- Home users: Ideal for people who need extra protection during long days, travel, or overnight without frequent product changes.
- Aged care residents: Helps carers reduce the frequency of full product changes while maintaining comfort and skin health.
- NDIS participants: Booster pads may be claimable under NDIS consumables funding. AMH Community is a registered NDIS provider.
- Active users: Discreet and secure fit for people who remain active throughout the day.
Choosing the Right Booster Pad
The right booster pad depends on absorbency needs, the outer continence product being used, and how long protection needs to last. For lighter overnight top-up, a petite or mini pad with lower absorbency is usually enough. For heavy incontinence or extended wear where changes are infrequent, a maxi option with higher capacity is more appropriate. In cases of very heavy incontinence, booster pads can also be stacked inside the outer garment for additional capacity.
Taped styles have an adhesive strip that holds the pad in position during movement, which is useful for more active users. Non-taped styles sit freely inside the outer garment and are easier to remove and replace independently.
