National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
NDIS is an Australian national scheme for people who have permanent and significant disability with funding for supports and services. It provides funding to eligible people so they gain more time with family and friends, greater independence, access to new skills, jobs, and an improved quality of life.
If you are eligible for Consumables fall under the Core Supports NDIS budget, then Atlas McNeil Healthcare Community can assist. We are nationally registered with NDIS and a lead supplier of consumable
healthcare products, Australia-wide.

HomeCare Package (HCP)
The Home Care Packages (HCP) Program supports older people in Australia with complex needs to help them stay at home and connected to their communities for longer. The HCP Program achieves this by using a consumer directed care approach, to make sure the support provided suits a person’s assessed needs and goals through structured and comprehensive support.

A government funding support program available to purchase HEN products from: National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Registered participants may receive support funding to administer HEN.
The NDIS does generally fund HEN products and formula if the person needs them because of their disability support needs. For example, the NDIS will usually fund HEN products or formula if the disability means you can’t eat or swallow everyday food.

CAPS is an Australian Government program. It provides a payment to eligible people, to help with some of the costs of buying continence products.
More than 4.8 million Australians have a bladder or bowel problem. CAPS helps you reduce the costs of buying continence products from a supplier of your choice.
To get CAPS you need to meet all the eligibility requirements. The basic requirements are that you:
- have permanent and severe incontinence
- have an eligible neurological condition or eligible other condition that is the cause of your permanent and severe incontinence
- be 5 years or older
- be an Australian citizen.
